Lisbeth Fog studied journalism in Colombia and got her M.Sc. in Science Journalism, at Boston University, United States, as a Fulbright scholar. She has been a science writer and editor of several books and a journalist for the written press. She has produced science radio shows, and currently is the science editor of the National Public Radio in Colombia. She has also produced science television shows. In 1996 she produced 50 programs (24 minutes each) of the science activity in Colombia. Also, since late 1990s, she became a science journalism teacher, and has organized several science journalism workshops nationally and internationally. Fog set the Colombian Science and Technology News Wire Service, NOTICyT, of which she was its director from 2002 to 2004. In the international scenery, she works as Colombian correspondent and Latin America editor for the Spanish gateway. In 2006 she received the Science Journalism Prize, for a collective work about neurology, mind and the brain, at SEMANA magazine. Currently, besides being a journalist (radio and online) Fog is also professor of science journalism at Universidad Externado de Colombia.
