Themed workshops for professional journalists are held regularly throughout the year covering subjects ranging from climate change, human rights and peace building, to health, global trade, migration and intellectual property. The goal of these workshops is to improve the journalists' knowledge of the issues, to raise public awareness through publication of high-quality articles and reports and to develop a global network of international journalists. Media21 is based in Geneva, Switzerland, the headquarters for 25 major international organizations, over 200 NGOs, and 150 multinational corporations. As a crossroads for thousands of high-level players involved in the many facets of globalization, Geneva is an ideal venue for the Media21 workshops.
Media21 is open to proposals from organizations seeking to advance dialogue through sessions on specific subjects. Media21 offers a variety of formats from conferences, debates and workshops, to fellowships and field trips. |
